I have been married since 10/79 to my lovely wife and we have a daughter who was born 5/1/93. My daughter is truly the "light of my life". She just entered Pre-School in 9/96 and our household is busy getting used to it.
Harriette & I have had the good fortune to live in several different parts of the United States.
We have lived in Pittsburgh PA, Houston TX and Somerset New Jersey.
We are currently living in Eastampton New Jersey (20 min. or so outside of Philadelphia PA), where we are engaged in a happy struggle to maintain hearth and home.
I am currently employed at the corporate headquarters of Merrill Lynch at the World Financial Center in NYC
where I am an Information Systems Manager.
The area that I work in is a centralized function responsible for firmwide Technology Strategy and Planning.
I have the opportunity through my job to work on many interesting projects at the firm in a consulting role.
Process Management, JAD Facilitation, Project Management Methods and CASE Technology
are a few of the areas that I specialize in.
I am currently consulting on several mission critical projects that I am not at liberty to discuss here, but that you will no doubt be reading about over the next several months.
Prior to Merrill Lynch, I worked at the U.S. headquarters of the French chemical company Rhone-Poulenc in Cranbury, NJ.
While I was at Rhone-Poulenc I was responsible for managing a centralized group called Data and Development support.
This group was responsible for Systems Development Methodology, Data/Process Modeling, Human Factors Engineering, Prototyping, Project Management Administration and Total Quality Management.
In June of 1996 I gave a speech at the semi annual Tools & Methods Business Engineering (TMBE) confrence in Washington D.C.
I started my career in business at AT&T (where I have actually spent most of my adult working life). I started at AT&T as a Long Distance Operator in 1979, working at the Airline I office in Houston TX.
Soon after I was promoted in to management and held positions in Force Administration, Facilities Administration and Operator Services Center Administration.
In 1984 I transferred to AT&T headquarters in Basking Ridge NJ where I worked as a Systems Analyst, Systems Architect and Strategic Systems Planner.
While I was at AT&T, I was fortunate to have worked on many interesting and challenging assignments.
Probably the most fulfilling was the AT&T Universal Card project where I headed up a team responsible for Data Base Analysis.
