TIDBITS: Miles Davis, 25 Strong, SonnyBoy, Bettye LaVette, Shuggie Otis, Family Stone Update, This Day in Black Music History, Temptations, Billy Paul

Soul-Patrol.Net Radio Miles Davis - Soul-Patrol would like to congratulate MR. MILES DAVIS AND HIS FAMILY on his induction into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame.

25 Strong - Be on the lookout for the new movie "25 STRONG" coming to your city soon. I have seen the movie and it's an inspirational story that demonstrates what can happen when strong Black men decide to use their skills to make positive change in the inner city.

SonnyBoy - Soul-Patrol would like to advise you to be on the lookout for SonnyBoy coming to your town live in concert soon. He just did a SLAMMIN show in Pittsburgh last week at the Shadow Lounge and will soon be launching a nationwide tour. Stay tuned for the details...

Bettye LaVette - Soul-Patrol would like to advise you that our very own MS. BETTYE LAVETTE has been out literally burning up the United States on tour. We caught up with her in Philly on 12/2/2005 @ North By Northwest and she turned that joint out.

Family Stone Update - Soul-Patrol would like you to know that the "PHUNK PHAMILY AFFAIR" has officially changed it's name to "THE FAMILY STONE" as per the direction of Mr. SLY STONE. Look out for the FAMILY STONE coming your way in 2006.

New Book - This Day in Black Music History - Soul-Patrol would like to advise you to be on the lookout for this new book written by our own JAY WARNER, coming out after the first of the year.

Temptations - Soul-Patrol would like to advise you to be on the lookout for a new studio release from the TEMPTATIONS, coming out after the first of the year

Billy Paul - Soul-Patrol would like to send it's prayers to the family of MR. BILLY PAUL due to the death of his mother, ANNA MAE BLAGMAN, passed away at 10:38 this past Saturday night at the age of 92. Billy is deeply saddened. This past week has been an emotional rollercoaster for him. Billy celebrated his 70th birthday on Thursday and lost his Mom on Saturday. Billy was supposed to start a tour of Brazil on Tuesday. Needless to say, the tour will have to be moved back. Keep BILLY PAUL and his family in your prayers.
