1. Soul-Patrol.Net Radio's Top 30 for March 2003

Soul-Patrol.Net Radio'

Soul-Patrol.Net Radio

It's been a short month for us here due to our "technical difficulties", but none the less yall have been taking advantage of the opportunity to listen to some of our broadcasts since our site has been back up and here are the "relative rankings" (popularity contest) for the month of March.

Here are a few trends...

- Soul-Patrollers dig slow jams , three of Will Chill's "Master of the Slow Jams" broadcasts rank in the top 30.

- Soul-Patrollers love Motown , 6 of the top 10 shows feature Motown artists.

- Soul-Patrollers are willing to check out INDEPENDENT music, 8 of the broadcasts in the top 30 feature INDEPENDENT artists.

- Soul-Patrollers are interested in hearing interviews with the artists (and we have more coming)

- Soul-Patrollers are interested in hearing a historical perspective, done in a creative manner (not just "spinning of records without a context") including music/commentary from people who know the 'real deal' (and we have more coming).

- It's awfully nice to see some DOO WOP once again in our top 30 :)

- Overall, FUNK rules, with 13 of the 30 broadcasts being FUNK music/culture oriented

Anyhow, here are the results.
